Il PM1284 è un apparato adibito alla generazione della tensione necessaria all’alimentazione dei sistemi in bassa tensione di carrozza in assenza della tensione di catenaria.
L’apparato è realizzato in un contenitore da montare nel sotto cassa della carrozza .
Il PM1284 alimenta un pacco batterie al litio separato dalla parte elettronica e posto sempre nel sotto cassa.
